Wang Weifan, Emeritus Professor of Nanjing Union Theological Seminary, Dies at ages 88

Wang Weifan, the Emeritus Professor of Nanjing Union Theological Seminary, died on Step. 15th, 2015, at age 88.
CCD reporter has phoned Nanjing Union Theological Seminary to confirm this news.
Wang Weifan, born in 1927, was an older generation pastor in Chinese church and famous theology educator.
Nanjing Union Theological Seminary was the first seminary resuming to enlist students after smashing the "Gang of Four". Professor Wang has acted as a dean since then and dedicated himself to developing talent for Chinese church. As one of the members who signed on Three-Self Reform Declaration, he witnessed the development of Chinese church under Three-Self guidelines.
Wang Weifan dedicated himself to Christian theology quest from rich Chinese culture and implemented Christian belief to whole of his life. Books written by him, such as "life of Jesus", have been the key textbooks in the seminary, and nurtured thousands of students.
