On April 13, 2019, Shenzhen's Xiangmihu Church of Guangdong celebrated the first anniversary of its pastoring groups ministry.
In April of 2018, the church started the shift to pastoring its congregation by groups, according to the church. Thirty groups have been established and more than 50 group leaders and associate leaders have joined the ministry.
Performances including hymns, dances, and allegros were given.
The church's senior pastor Qiu Quan encouraged the ministry to double the number of groups this year.
In addition, nine people decided to follow Jesus during the worship and praise meeting.
