The Nine Bays Church in Xinjiang held its first anniversary thanksgiving service.
In July last year, the city's pastors, deacons and coworkers, in the newly built church, held a joint thanksgiving and praise session, in celebration of the Nine Bays Church's dedication to the Holy Lord, according to the WeChat account of Jianghe Journal.
The worship in gratitude began with the praise of the congregation. Pastor Zhang Ling hosted the main ceremony. The Sunday school choir and elderly choir respectively offered thanksgiving and praises.
Reverend Fan Chenguang read out verses from the book of Acts, chapter 2, verses 41 to 47. His sermon's theme was "Thanksgiving for the Founding of the Church and Blessings for the Growth of the Church".
Pastor Fan led the congregation to first of all thank God for the establishment of the church. When the Pentecostal Holy Spirit was poured on a group of perseverant praying people waiting for the Spirit, the New Testament Church was established and many repented to be saved.
