During the Spring Festival in 2016, churches in the districts and counties of Shanghai held retreats to revive believers' spiritual life, expecting they to have growing faith and rejoice in hope in the new year.
CCC&TSPM of Yangpu District and of Jiading District both held two-day retreats in which over 1000 attended. They invited pastors from East China Theological College and Moore Memorial Church to preach the message about "Enoch and disciples," "Christian authorities" and "peace in Christ."
Churches like the Church of Jesus in Xingang County(Nanhui District), Huizhogn Church (Huangpu District), the Church of Jesu (Pudong New Area) had retreats on different life themes, like blessing life, the restoration of life and ways of right life.
