Liu Shengcai, a Christian sandpainting artist, published his new sand animation film "Lord, I Love You" which gets more than 12,000 clicks in China and has been reprinted in church-related websites and WeChat platforms.

The new film tells about David's praises after winning a battle, based on the original song Lord, I Love you by Liu Xiaobin, a Christian singer. Liu introduces that the song was created because he was so much moved when reading Psalm 18, conveying the message about the love to the Lord, calling for Lord's help in sufferings and thanks for the Lord.

Accompanied by the song, the sand animation film shows the scenes that David shepherds sheep in his childhood then the shepherd beats lion, as the time goes in his youth David defeats the giant Goliath and later King David plays sharp with wearing a crown, etc. In the middle of the film Psalm 18:1-3 and 18:48-50 are illustrated. Its middle parts are shown in the images of cartoons, available for children to watch.

Liu Shengcai says the production of the sand animation film lasted three weeks and he spent most of the time on first-phase composition and preparation while it only took him 2 days to record the film. Liu studied the verses of Psalm 18 in different Bible versions to ensure the information in accordance with the Bible. He also searched related photos on the Internet thus those formed the work.

Christians who have seen the film express their likes with comments like "Brother Liu: thank you! It's helpful! May the Lord remember your work and bless you greatly!" and "Thank God for so many people love the works of Teacher Liu, Amen."

Liu who has already over 20 works says he has been studying the Bible not to misinterpret it since he hoped to draw out the Bible stories through sand animation in 2009, the time he started learning it. He says he offers free service to any Christian singer who wants to make sand animation films and expects them to create more excellent songs in the future.
