Jiangsu Theological Seminary invited Dr. Josh McDowell to give a pastoral lecture on May 17, 2017 with all teachers and students attending.
McDowell, age 77, was accompanied by Rev. Deng Zhaobai, secretary-general of Christian Communications Ltd in Hong Kong, along with other church workers. He shared his religious beliefs on love, marriage, family, and proper relationships between men and women with the workers and students from his own experience. He also discussed in depth how the church should guide the congregation in this matter and how individual believers should pursue the holiness and love required by God. Pastor Xie Fenfen served as translator.
After the lecture, Rev. Josh McDowell held a Q&A session with the teachers and students. At the end of the lecture the Josh McDowell Ministry and Christian Communications Ltd gifted many religious study and theology books to the graduating class of the school.
