On February 9, 2019, a new church and a painting and calligraphy institute were dedicated in Fujian.

Located near the sea in a fishing village with over 2,000 households in Xiapu County, Ningde, Fujian province, the Guanmen Church began from evangelistic work in August 1913 and was later renovated three times.  The congregation for a time was nurtured by pastors from nearby churches.

Guests included Rev. Yue Qinghua, president of the Fujian Theological Seminary and chairman of the Fujian TSPM. He as well as local registered church leaders congratulated the Chinese Philosophy Art Painting & Calligraphy Institute at its inaugural ceremony.

The choir of the Fuzhou's Huaxiang mega-Church along with other churches and choirs sang hymns to celebrate the good news.
