Shashi Church, located in China’s COVID-19 epicenter Hubei Province, reopened on Sunday after months of lockdown due to the pandemic.

Before the Sunday services, a national flag-raising ceremony was held, according to the church.

Then two Communion services were attended by about 300 people. The congregation received the bread and the wine.

Rev. Ding Jianghua preached a sermon on the patriotism of Christians. As Christians, we should pray for the blessings of our country, live out our faith in daily life, and become a people of blessing for this era.
