Yunnan Theological Seminary made donations for victims of the 2021 Yangbi earthquake.

On May 21, a 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck Yangbi Yi Autonomous County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, leaving three dead and dozens injured, according to China Daily.

The seminary organized its staff and students to donate money on May 23 to the disaster-stricken area, with donations exceeding 7,000 yuan, according to the seminary.

The school said although they could not visit Yangbi County to help them, difficulties would be overcome, as long as the entire nation is united and dedicated.

In addition to donations, the faculty and students prayed for victims of the disaster, hoping that they could resume a normal productive life and rebuild their homes as soon as possible.

This seminary is the only provincial-level three-year theological college in Yunnan Province. In addition to enrolling three-year-college students every year, it also organizes training courses for pastoral staff.
