Two Harbin churches announced that they would resume their in-person services starting from this Wednesday.

On August 23, Nan’gang Church invited its members to attend the worship services from August 25, while remaining within the guidelines of pandemic control and prevention.

Hallelujah Church last Sunday declared the continuation of onsite gatherings, and believers could make an appointment on the spot to attend services, of which the time was shortened according to a report.

The Harbin Command Center of Pandemic Control and Prevention last Friday said that religious gathering sites could reopen due to the de-escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the State Council’s notice on Prevention and Control Measures for Key Locations, Organizations, and Population Groups through its Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism.
