The Shaanxi Provincial CC&TSPM held an opening ceremony of the first phase of a one-year training course for key pastoral workers across the province.

During the ceremony also attended by the whole staff and students of Shaanxi Bible School on September 3, Rev. Wang Jun, chairman, and president of Shaanxi CC&TSPM encouraged trainees to cherish this hard-earned opportunity to study diligently, to abide by the school rules and remain disciplined during the training, to hone themselves in the collective life, and to adhere to the Sinicization of Christianity.

Besides prayer, contribution, and propagation, he also urged them to read the Bible carefully over and over again and absorb multi-disciplinary knowledge, including church history, theology, society and culture, religious policy, and management, in order to intellectually nourish the believers well.

Finally, the ceremony ended with Rev. Li Shizheng’s prayer and Rev. Wang’s blessings.
