A Fujian church purchased anti-pandemic supplies to support medical workers in the front line.

Rev. Zhu Yiming, senior pastor of Putian Church in Fujian, organized believers to pray for the fighting against the pandemic and make donations, as Fengting Town, Xianyou County, Putian City, has suffered from the second wave of COVID-19 since September 10.

On Sept 18, the church delivered supplies to help relieve the effects of the pandemic (worth 3,080 yuan) including 20 boxes of milk and six trolleys to the Haiyuan International Hotel, which was set up as a quarantine point, according to the Fujian CC&TSPM

The next day, 120 sets of protective clothing, 20 boxes of milk, 20 cartons of instant noodles, and 10,000 masks which cost 12,300 yuan, were bought and sent to the Yinglong neighborhood committee to support the anti-pandemic effort.

The church on September 20 spent 7,570 yuan on 20 cartons of milk, 20 boxes of mineral water, 105 sets of protective clothing, presenting them to the Fengshan community.

After learning that the Fengting Town Central Hospital in Xianyou County lacked anti-pandemic materials such as alcohol and cardboard boxes, believers of the church raised 8,662 yuan to buy 680 bottles of alcohol, 298 cardboard boxes, and 18 medical trash cans, sending them to the Changling Village, Jiaowei Town, Xianyou County, to help solve their urgent needs.
