Two Jiangsu churches in Suzhou City hosted year-end praise and prayer meetings.

In Mujia Garden Church on December 31, 2021, a New Year Eve’s prayer meeting was attended by leaders of ministries, church council members, and other believers. The gathering included five parts: worship, prayer, a sermon, group intercession, and a gift raffle, according to Suzhou CC&TSPM.

After sharing the story of Nehemiah building the wall of Jerusalem, Rev. Yang urged the attendees to pay attention to the construction of their inner life and then to bring spiritual revival to the church. Later, they prayed together for the pastors, the church, and the country.

On the same day, another praise and prayer gathering took place in Qingjian Lake Church. Following the hymn Jehovah is Love, Rev. Zhang gave a sermon titled Beg the Lord to Restore the Land, citing Psalm 60. The pastor led believers to pray for the unity and revival of the church, family, society, the country, and the world under the pandemic. During the praise and prayer, they sought God’s will in the church and expressed their desire to walk with God in their lives and glorify the name of the Lord in society.
