A church in Liaoning Province, northeast China, baptized 70 people, three of whom were deaf.

Xingsheng Church in Anshan City, Liaoning Province, held a baptism and communion service on August 14. Seventy followers of Christ were baptized this Sunday after passing the test demonstrating their faith.

According to the requirements of epidemic prevention, Xingsheng Church requires believers to register, scan codes, have their temperature measured, and wear masks before entering the church. The elder of the church, Xu Ling, gave a sermon titled "Understanding Baptism", sharing about knowing the reasons for baptism, the requirements for baptism, and misunderstanding of baptism.

Among those baptized were both old and young, and three deaf people were baptized at the Deaf Fellowship.

After the baptism ceremony, Elder Xu Ling led believers to read Mark 14, Acts 2, and other related scriptures, and preached a sermon titled "Understanding Reception of Holy Communion". She talked about the reasons, conditions, and meaning of receiving the sacrament. The acolytes distributed the bread and wine to the baptized persons.

Members of the Church's Deaf Fellowship also held communion services in their rooms.

The evening service also included a baptism and communion service.
