Introductory Lecture on the 'Administrative Measures for Internet Religious Information Services' Launched

To further improve the level of religious information service and management, CCC&TSPM held a special lecture entitled "The Guide to the ‘Administrative Measures for Internet Religious Information Services".

Zhao Xin, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, was invited to give an explanation on November 11, according to CCC&TSPM.

Zhao explained the features of the Measures which came into effect on March 1, the significance of its introduction, the regulations and content of approval and licensing, and the management regulations of information content and activities. She said that in the current era, the integration of online and onsite was a common mode and that the introduction of the "Measures" set the standard of information release on kinds of platforms. It could help the religious community to clarify the development direction of online propaganda, improve the information management level, and enhance believers’ ability to identify false information.
