Chinese singer Na Ying officially revealed on October 12 that she would leave in "Sing! China."

The 49-year-old Chinese vocalist issued a post through her agency's Weibo, announcing her departure from the famous Chinese reality talent show after six season of being a mentor and judge.

"It's time to take a break. After six seasons, I have become more aware that music is fair. Therefore, it breaks my heart every time I have to say good bye to a contestant and it has left me mentally and physically exhausted," the singer wrote.

The news came after claims that the show might be rigged after Eason Chan revealed that the director had told him and Na Ying to push their buttons and show approval for a particular contestant.

Initially, Na Yin refused these claims and called her co-mentor and judge "unprofessional" but the suspicions were further increased after she announced her departure following this revelation.

Some people also noted that Na Ying might have been receiving offers to appear on another show, "I Am a Singer" after the show's director, Hong Tao was spotted liking one of her Weibo posts.

However, Tao denied the claims and said that he had not made any offers.

In response, "Sing! China" publicity director Lu Wei said that the cast and crew remain very good friends both on and off screen and said that there are already plans for the next season.
