The church in Dalian, Liaoning has been active in local voluntary work against Covid-19 for more than one month, said the church's pastor on March 20.

Since the coronavirus outbreak, Rev. Tian Chengbin, in charge of Gospel Church in Zhongshan District, led believers to serve as volunteers.

"These wonderful people are good believers in the church and good citizens in society. When a pandemic breaks out, a command is issued. Working as volunteers, they have been diligent in their own jobs without any complaint," added Rev. Tian.

A nine-person volunteer team of the church has been involved in frontline community security and publicizing pandemic prevention information after training.

The action won praise from the district united front work department. On Feb. 17, Rev. Tian sent 2,000 facial marks to the local united front work office.
