Nanjing Union Theological Seminary in China’s eastern-coastal Jiangsu Province held the 2022 Graduation Ceremony and service, attended by the faculty and students following the COVID-19 protocols.

On June 20, President Gao Feng, Rev. Xu Xiaohong, chairman of TSPM, and Rev. Wu Wei, president of CCC, delivered speeches via video, according to CCC&TSPM.

During the service, based on Luke 10:1-12, Rev. Chen Yilu, executive vice-president, preached a sermon with the title "What Should I Bring?", exhorting the graduating students to be the good shepherd of the new age, who should learn how to communicate with others. They were also required to heal others with pastoral care, learn how to restore relationships, and be strong and courageous.

A total of 162 students graduated, including 137 undergraduates, 125 of whom received bachelor’s degrees in theology, and 25 postgraduate students who all obtained master’s degrees in divinity.

After the issuing of graduation certificates and degree certificates, Rev. Chen Yilu hosted the commission service for those students.
