Last Wednesday the renowned singer and composer Huang Guolun announced on Weibo, one of China's most popular social media platforms, that he was going to hold a concert in Beijing National Stadium (Bird's Nest) on September 23, 2017.

Declaring the crazy move, Huang shouted his passion for his dream in the 25th year of his music career to mark his love for music. Though many people threw cold water on the idea, the second day he released a post that it was the first day for the concert's preparation.

Huang has produced many good songs, especially the popular song "I'm Willing" sung by Faye Wong, a hugely popular Chinese singer-songwriter.

He told a moving story behind the song. In the beginning, Faye Wong sang for hours in a studio to record the song. Feeling her performance was ineffective, he asked her to take a little break and shared a story with her. He recalled that nobody sang his songs in the first four years before the birth of the song. However, that failure led him to depend more on God. Before writing the song, he knelt down and prayed, "God, the songs written by me are not gonna be popular, but I want to write a song for you." Amazingly, a melody was singing in his mind before he stood up, " I am willing for you ... I am willing for you ..."

His experience enlightened Wong who said she was moved by it, but she added, "I don't believe in God, so how can I sing it?"

"Sing it to your beloved one!" Huang replied.

Later Wong only sang one more time to complete the recording.

Born in Taiwan in 1961, Huang has witnessed the faithful Jehovah with his songs like Ebenezer several times. He once said that his conversion was totally a result of his mother's prayers and tears for years.
