Chengdu Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) held the first Special Children’s Games last Sunday.

At Jintang Special Education School in Chengdu, Sichuan, 45 children, ten parents, six teachers, and 20 volunteers participated.

On that day, the volunteers and children carried out many "fun" competitions such as a 50-meter race, sandbag throwing, rope skipping, and archery.

"First of all, I am happy to participate in this activity and am touched by these special children. In fact, they are the same as ordinary children and are not dissatisfied with life due to physical defects. On the contrary, being happy, cute, and polite, they are willing to participate in various activities. I hope they can continue to be cheerful in the future and participate in more voluntary activities making them into useful persons," said a volunteer who participated in the games.
