On October 26, the public welfare wheelchair customization activity for teenagers was held in Nantong City.

When the day arrived, twenty-five teenagers with special needs were given custom wheelchairs. During the installment time, the volunteers who had customized the wheelchairs made a point to show respect to the teens by getting down on the same level and talking with them.

It is said that the early stage of this public welfare activity was jointly launched by the State Grid Nantong Power Supply Company along with the faith-based Amity Foundation, aiming to build a bridge under the support by the "Online State Grid" App platform, so as to attract more people from society and resources to care for the teens with special needs. From the launch of the activity up to the end, a total of 50,000 yuan was raised for charity.

At the same time, this activity also received the support of the Nantong Disabled Persons’ Federation, and 25 teens were given custom wheelchairs.

"Thanks to the State Grid Nantong Power Supply Company, The Amity Foundation and Zhenjiang Reed’s Family Volunteer Service Agency for their love and volunteer deeds to effectively solve the practical difficulties in life for the teens with special needs," said Yang Dingyong, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of Nantong Disabled Persons' Federation.
