On March 3, Dunhua CC&TSPM of Jilin Province held a special donation ceremony for students.

There is an extremely special family in Bohai Street Workers and Peasants Community. Student Xu's father is an employee of Dunhua Vegetable Oil Factory with multiple disabilities. He was recently hospitalized due to cerebral thrombosis, which made him unable to take care of himself. His wife has no permanent job, his grandfather is in his 70s with visual disabilities, and his two uncles are mentally handicapped. Over the years, the whole family has been relying on subsistence allowances, and the mother alone has been taking care of the five men in the family. Student Xu has also been doing part-time jobs after class to support his family.

Although the church had suspended gatherings due to the coronavirus pandemic and money was tight, the donation ceremony was still held to relieve the tuition pressure of Xu.

At the ceremony, Pastor Wang Daiyu, chairman of Dunhua CC&TSPM, handed 3,000 yuan to student Xu, and encouraged him: "People from all sectors of life have always been caring about your family. You are the only hope and comfort of your family and your mother. I wish you can be strong and optimistic in difficulties. So many people love you. Please study hard and contribute to your country in the future."

Student Xu expressed his gratitude for everyone's care and help to his family, promising to study hard and contribute to his family, society, and the development of the motherland.
