Rev. Xu Xiaohong, chairman of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM), received an invitation to deliver a special lecture on the localization of Christianity in Suzhou, Jiangsu. Over 100 clergy members from the city gathered to attend the event.

On July 25th, Rev. Xu delivered a speech titled "The Timeliness of the Sinicization of Christianity." According to Suzhou CC&TSPM, he elaborated on the essence, traits, practical significance, and future direction of developing Christianity in the Chinese context during this address. He emphasized the importance of assimilating the core values of socialism, integrating elements of exemplary traditional culture, and fostering the adaptability of churches to socialist society.

In the pursuit of advancing the sinicization of Christianity, it becomes crucial to delve deeper into theological contemplation and cultivate a unique theological system specific to China.
