A workshop focusing on the sinicization of Christianity and laws and regulations was conducted for pastoral staff in Liaoning Province with original denominational backgrounds, including the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the True Jesus Church, and the Christian Assembly.

From November 8 to 9, Liaoning Provincial CC&TSPM organized the training course at the meeting point of Fantun Village in Yingpan Township, Linghe District, Jinzhou City, reported CCC&TSPM. This was the first time for the provincial CC&TSPM to initiate a joint training that involved staff workers from three Christian denominations. The workshop featured a seminar on the localization of Christianity and interpretations of the "Administrative Measures for Religious Activity Venues" and the "Administrative Measures for Religious Clergy."

At the seminar, Elder Shi Aijun, chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM), elaborated on the development of Christianity in China, starting from "four entries and three exits" (the introduction of Christianity into China beginning from the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, but with prohibitions in the first three entries) to the “Anti-Christian Movement" to the “Three-Self Reform Movement” and to the construction of theological thought as well as the sinicization of Christianity.

Rev. Hou Yujie, president of the Liaoning Provincial Christian Council (CC), interpreted the related laws and regulations from theories to practices.

Subsequent to this training, Liaoning CC&TSPM is planning more workshops for clergy with original denominational backgrounds in the future.
