Henan Provincial CC&TSPM launched the 2024 pastoral staff training class (one year) in Zhongmou County, Zhengzhou City.

According to CCC&TSPM, on March 26, more than 80 people attended the opening ceremony for the one-year training class, including leaders of the provincial CC&TSPM, teacher representatives from the Henan Theological Seminary, related co-workers of Zhongmou County’s CC&TSPM, along with the faculty and trainees of the session.

During the meeting, it was stressed that all trainees should prioritize learning theory as their primary goal while continuously strengthening their awareness of political identification, cultural integration, and social adaptation to contemporary China to uphold the principle that provincial Christian affairs are always developed in the Chinese context. Additionally, the meeting emphasized that personal quality improvement would be the top priority, enhancing the ability to solve issues and thus facilitating the healthy continuity of Christian affairs in distinct areas.

As a specific measure to implement the themed event "Uphold to Sinicization and Act in Unity on the Right Path" in the Christian community across the province, the one-year pastoral training course was designed to cultivate backup staff for the practice of sinicizing Christianity in Henan and to promote the detailed and actual practice of localizing Christianity in Henan, said CCC&TSPM.
