Celebrates International Women's Day of Prayer

On the morning of March 1, 2016, Fuxing Church held a worship service to celebrate Women's World Day of Prayer and 300 believers attended it, Xuzhou, Jiangsu. 

This year the theme is "Receive Children, Receive Me". The material of the service is written by Cuba and translated by CCC&TSPM.

Held by Curate Wang Xuerong, the service lasted one hour, consisting of greeting from women of Cuba, calling, introducing of the international event, reading the Bible, singing and praising and praying. 

In the praying part the church leaders led the congregation to pray for Cuba and world peace. The service concluded with the benediction. 

The origins of Women's World Day of Prayer date back to the 19th century when Christian women in the USA and Canada initiated a variety of cooperative activities in support of women's involvement in mission, at home and abroad, according to the official website
