On Christmas Eve, the most solemn day in the churches around the world, Huangjinbu Church in Yugan, Jiangxi, celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ with praise and dances.

The opening show was the grand candlelight ceremony where people held candles and moved in formations to lay out overwhelming scenes of "Holy" and "Lamb." Students from the Sunday school performed dances, the Youth Choir performed a dance called "Mission," and four brothers performed "San Ju Ban" (three and a half, a Chinese folk art form).

Following this was the play "The Return of the Prodigal Son" and the dance "Power of the Holy Spirit" by middle-aged believers. There were also "I Will Follow You All My Life" danced by teachers of the Sunday school, and "Singing and Dancing for Christmas" by young believers. The evening gathering concluded with the prayer lead by Elder Chen Yinshui, before a chorus "We Shout to the Lord."

Yugan County is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province. There are 36 townships, villages, and fields under its jurisdiction. The population of the whole county is 1.03 million with 90,000 Christians. Yugan County has also become an object of study in political, academic, and religious circles because there are so many believers and churches. Huangjinbu Town also goes by the name of "Town of Power," and it is also the key town in the south of Yugan County and the "sub center" of the whole county. There are 14 churches within its jurisdiction.
