Recently 49 people were baptized into Christ in Fuzhou, China’s southeastern Fujian Province.

The Flower Lane Church (Huaxiang Church) held the annual summer baptism service on August 29, according to the church.

In the three regular baptism services, candidates who were baptized were free to choose any form of baptism, whether by immersion or sprinkling.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the summer baptism of the megachurch was delayed one month. It was conducted in the morning and afternoon.

On that morning, Rev. Zhang Zhizhong and Rev. Chen Ming baptized 35 seekers by sprinkling. Later the two pastors baptized the rest by immersion in the baptismal pool.
