On October 16, the volunteer medical consultation team of the Fuzhou CC&TSPM, in Fujian Province, offered a free clinic and distribute medical supplies.

In Fuquan Township, Yongtai County, the team carried medical equipment and medicines worth more than 5,000 yuan, providing medical items such as internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, stomatology, Traditional Chinese medicine, general medicine, foot massage, blood glucose measurement, blood pressure measurement, etc. This time more than 170 patients were received.

She Yuyun, the depute president of Fuzhou TSPM(Three-Self Patriotic Movement) and depute chairman of Fuzhou CC(Christian Council) , and Lin Xueying, officials from municipal ethnic and religious affairs also attended.

There are three She ethnic minority villages in Fuquan Township, Yongtai County, which was originally a poor ethnic minority township. In recent years, the whole township has developed sheep breeding, rare tree species planting, photovoltaic power generation and other characteristic industries. The township becomes a wealth spring and the villagers get more income. It is not convenient for the villagers to seek medical treatment if they are ill, as the township is 7 kilometers away from the county seat.
