Heilongjiang Theological Seminary Holds Commencement for 48 Graduates

On November 10, the 2020 graduation ceremony of Heilongjiang Theological Seminary was held in the Ark Chapel at the educational center at the base of Olive Mountain.

This year, the seminary had 48 graduates majoring in theology, sacred music, and Special Pedagogy. Due to the epidemic, the 2020 graduation ceremony was postponed for 4 months, according to CCC&TSPM.

The graduation service was presided over by Rev. Xue Shihai, the deputy president of the Heilongjiang Theological Seminary. Rev. Yue Qinghua, the president of Fujian Theological Seminary, was invited to give a sermon entitled, "Rise up and become part of God's great army". He encouraged all graduates to be good soldiers of Christ Jesus and rely on the Holy Spirit to share the gospel.

The graduation ceremony was officiated by Rev. Li Meilan, executive deputy president of Heilongjiang Theological Seminary. Rev. Lu Dezhi, deputy Chairman of CCC&TSPM, chairman of Heilongjiang CC&TSPM, and president of the seminary commissioned the students for service. Graduates were awarded diplomas by Rev. Lu Dezhi, Xue Shihai and Yue Qinghua.

Rev. Lu Dezhi presented books to the graduates on behalf of the college and the graduate representatives expressed gratitude to their alma mater.

After the ceremony, the 2020 graduates of the sacred music department presented performance.
