"Focusing life is like focusing your camera. Everyone has a camera lens in their heart.”

Chuck Chan, a professional leadership trainer and a corporate executive, virtually gave a speech on "Career Planning and Life Vision".

On September 26, Chan shared that vision was our unseen wealth in the workplace and life at "Gospel Talkshow," an online Christian broadcasting show.

With more than 20 years of experience as the chief executive and a professional financial manager in the US television and entertainment industry, the Chinese American Christian owns cross-cultural experiences across the United States, Canada, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

"We will wander or perish without a vision, no matter whether we are people or enterprises. We should understand what God wants us to do rather than what we ourselves want," he said. "Vision will determine how we spend our time and the direction of our lives."

Chan provided an experience when a professor asked him to write a statement giving his life vision. Ten years later, he found it had greatly influenced his life. After 20 years, he realized that his vision had been completely eighty percent, while so far, he has completed almost 90%." He suggested that everyone should write down their life vision statement.

"For many Christians and non-Christians, a house, a car, and a wife are the most important things in a successful life. But we can’t just only pursue them." Chan said that the most important things were master, mission, and mate.

“What is your mission in life? Who is your partner in life? Who is your master? Is it material, money, success, wealth, occupation, parents, or God?" He added that master and mission would affect who your future partner would be.

"Our unseen wealth on earth will one day become our reward in heaven. There are three unseen things of value on the earth. The first is the word of God—in heaven, we can also hear God’s words and know his wishes. The second is family members. The third is the believers in the church. The church which we could also see in heaven is the kingdom of heaven on earth. "

He stressed that all Christians should understand and meditate on God's word, share the gospel with their family, serve more people in the church, and be a good witness to God.

Chan concluded by saying that direction was more important than hard work, confidence more important than success, the ability more important than knowledge, health more important than work, EQ more important than IQ, and character more important than money.
