Guangdong Union Theological Seminary received a plaque of the basic contact point for ethnic-religious work on rule of law and reopened its library after an upgrade.

In the unveiling ceremony on December 23, 2021, Rev. Xu Jieping, president of the seminary, said that as the seminary thought of the work of rule of law, it had managed to carry out legal education through posters, law books, legal classes, and lectures, which achieved good results. The award of the plaque was the recognition of the seminary’s rule of law work by Guangdong Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission, according to CCC&TSPM.

It would take this ceremony as a new starting point to integrate the spirit of the rule of law in religious work into college management and system construction, into the campus culture, and into the classroom teaching.

On the same day, the seminary held a ceremony to mark the completion of the upgrade and renovation, which had begun more than three months prior.

Rev. Fan Hongen, chairman of Guangdong TSPM, emphasized in his speech that the leaders of the college attributed great importance to the renovation project and had devoted much effort to it. He encouraged students to make more use of it and pursue more knowledge by using the library.
