All Churches in Shenzhen Closed Down Again Due to COVID-19 Rebound

Churches in Shenzhen have implemented a "double suspension“ that suspended the opening of religious sites and collective religious activities. Gatherings will resume at further notice.

On June 18, Shenzhen Christian Church, the Heping Church of Shenzhen and Christian Luohu Church first issued notices that they would implement a "double suspension” immediately and gatherings would resume at further notice. In addition, it was known that access to other non-suspended churches also required a nucleic acid test conducted within 24 hours.

Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission reported that from 0:00 to 24:00 on June 18, two novel coronavirus asymptomatic cases were found in community screening in Shenzhen, living in Futian District, with tracks in Futian District and Luohu District. From 0:00 to 24:00 on June 20, two asymptomatic cases of novel coronavirus infection were found in the screening of close contacts under quarantine in Shenzhen.

From 0:00 to 22:00 on June 22, three cases of asymptomatic cases of novel coronavirus were found in community screenings, living in Longgang District and Futian District, with tracks in Futian, Longgang and Nanshan Districts.
