A church in China’s southeastern coastal Guangdong Province conducted night prayers in response to a recent COVID-19 spike.

Zion Church in Guangzhou City released a notice last Friday, saying a united prayer meeting would be held on the following night for the end of the epidemic in the city.

Guangzhou reported 1,325 new local COVID-19 cases on November 5, said the municipal health commission.

Located at No. 392, Renmin Zhong Road, Jiawan District, Guangzhou, Zion Church was completed in 1936 with Chinese characteristics, with over 1800 people worshipping on Sunday.
