A Christian leader visited elderly pastors in a county in Fujian Province, the southeast coast of China.

On December 10, Rev. Deng Lingyong, president of Xiapu County CC&TSPM in Ningde City, together with staff members of the "Shepherd's House", visited church seniors of three pastoral areas, Yantian, Xinan, and Shajiang, according to Xiapu CC&TSPM.

They asked about the seniors' health and living conditions, reminding them to take personal precautions for pandemic prevention as restrictions eased.

Rev. Deng said elderly pastors who had sacrificed a lot for the house of God were the precious treasure of the church, surrounding believers like a cloud. As they all suffered much for the sake of the faith, their contributions had always inspired the younger generation of church workers.

The seniors shared many past stories that happened in the church, saying they would pray for the revival of the churches in Xiapu.

Staff workers of "Shepherd's House" will also visit church seniors in other areas of the county soon.
