Before the Spring Festival, churches in the provinces of Hubei and Fujian brought food donations to underprivileged families.

Hubei Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM) staff visited more than 600 families who were in poverty and sent rice and edible oil to community residents, township villagers, pastoral fellows, and believers who had financial difficulties on January 10, according to Hubei CC&TSPM.

From the 9th to the 13th of January, members of the Hubei Yidu Christian Church went door-to-door in the city communities and towns to visit poor households.

The members of the Saint Jacob Church in Yichang, which is located in Hubei Province, collaborated with three neighboring towns to provide 70 needy families with rice, cooking oil, flour, and pillows.

On the afternoon of Jan. 13, the pastoral staff of Chendai Church in Jinjiang, Fujian Province, visited the village committee of Pengtou, a neighboring village where the church is located, said the church.

The church fellows were led on their mission by the village cadres, and they visited 11 low-income families to deliver rice, food oil, and donations.
