A two-day training course themed "Anti-Cult and Rectification" was organized for clerical personnel at a Guangxi church in southeastern China.

Guangxi CC&TSPM held an anti-heresy educational class in Hechi City from May 5 to 6, with more than 90 church staff attending, said CCC&TSPM.

Rev. Wang Conglian, chairman of Guangxi TSPM, addressed the crucial role of Chinese churches in combating heresies during the opening ceremony, urging the religious staff to correctly handle the word of truth and resist the intrusion of cults into the church.

In the lecture themed "Church Rules and Policies" on May 5, Reverend Xiao Jifu, president of Guangxi Provincial CC, elaborated on the doctrine of the church in the "Regulations of Guangxi Church." He encouraged the attendees to learn and comply with the regulations during the management of the church, leaving heresies and cults with no chance.

In his lecture titled "Anti-cult and Rectification," Pastor Wang on May 6 analyzed the heretical statement of "Elijah, the Chosen One of the Last Day." He correctly interpreted Bible verses and used systematic doctrinal thinking to analyze and refute erroneous theories of heretical cults. Through some examples, Wang helped the staff gain a deeper understanding of the nature of this heresy.
