Three churches in Suzhou, Jiangsu, on the east coast of China, held the baptism service last Sunday.

A total of 20 seekers in Suzhou Xiangcheng Church were baptized into Christ by sprinkling on May 28 after studying in the catechism class and passing the faith inquiry, according to Suzhou CC&TSPM.

During the service, Pastor Qian Bin of the church shared the relationship between baptism and salvation with the title “The Significance of Baptism,” leading everyone to correctly understand baptism.

Eight seekers in St. John’s Church were baptized after studying in the catechism class and passing the faith inquiry.

Ten seekers were baptized publicly after studying in the catechism class and passing the faith inquiry at the Blue Sword Lake meeting point. They also took communion with other baptized believers for the first time.

Teacher Sun Fuqiang preached the sermon with the title “Road Map of Life” and urged the congregation to follow Jesus Christ, obey the will of Heavenly Father, and find the road map of their own lives in the truth of the Bible.

The baptism services in St. John’s Church and at the Blue Sword Lake meeting point are both the first baptism services in 2023.
