The first month of the year has been a hectic schedule for the Charlotte Hornets point guard, Jeremy Lin.

Despite that, Lin has uploaded new post on his blog entitled "Happy Chinese New Year!"

"Since my last post, a LOT has happened! We played 17 games in 31 days in 13 cities...sheeeeesh!!" Lin started in his blog post.

Along with his lengthy post, Lin attached a photo of his foot with few acupuncture needles on it. And he discussed how he appreciate the return of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist to Hornets' lineup.

But, the statement on the following paragraphs, Lin expressed how he've missed the celebration of Chinese New Year back when he was a child. Lin fondly talk about his experiences with the Chinese New Year celebration.

Lin wrote "As you guys know, Chinese New Year is here, which brings back some memories. As a kid, I used to loveee Chinese New Year because of the red envelopes with money. It also meant an awesome potluck and family time! This year, we have a game on Chinese New Year, and my family won't be in town so it definitely won't have the same feel unfortunately."

Afterwhich, he spoke of how he missed his mother and brother who is now all grown up and is a professional basketball player in Taiwan, too.

He also talked about growing his hair, his first road trip at California and how finding a pair of jeans made him happy.

On the other hand, Lin posted a video of inviting people to support his charity where Lin will be sending items that he personally hand-picked. According to the website, the Quarterly box of Lin will contain stories of culture and lifestyle with his handmade personal letter.

Hope you guys enjoyed my latest "Off-season Fun" Quarterly box. The next box will be dropping soon and it will have...
