Two renownd Christian artists in Hongkong encouraged people to get out of the haze of the epidemic and to turn stress into laughter, as the COVID-19 pandemic has been going on for more than two years.

Among them, Vivian Chou uploaded 675 of her own videos, hoping that these videos would bring others a little warmth. Christian artist Steven Ma hoped that through the form of a short film competition, people could relieve stress, release emotions, and cultivate their mood.

On her Weibo, China's Twitter, Vivian wrote : "Unconsciously, I have uploaded almost 675 videos, not only seeing my growth from the past to the present, but also feeling that the world is greatly changing. I am grateful not only for the good things I have encountered, but also for the attitude I have learned from the adversity of the past. I am deeply grateful that countless anti-epidemic personnel have done a lot for us in the past two years. So we should continue to do their part in epidemic prevention and walk through with patience and understanding. I hope the videos I have uploaded will bring you a little smile and warmth in these days. "

Steven wrote on his Weibo: “The COVID-19 pandemic has been going on for more than two years now, and no region in the world has been spared. In addition to the severe impact of the epidemic on the economy and people's daily life, the society is filled with stress and unhappiness under the influence of various unstable factors. Organized by the IDEA Quotient Education Center, the 'Drive Away the Epidemic, Happy Shooting' short film competition aims to encourage Hong Kong citizens to use their sense of humor and creativity to make short films to share with the public, transforming stress and unhappiness into happiness and laughter. They can express themselves in front of the camera in a relaxed and funny way to relieve depressed emotions and improve their mood through performing arts.”
