Alas! The long awaited month has arrived, and with Christmas just around the corner, we sometimes realize that everything seems to be moving so fast.

People from all over the world may have different take to Christmas, but how about us Christians? What is our take on this time of the year?

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

For us Christians, we should always remember that even though we don't really know the exact date of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the true essence of Christmas is giving thanks to God, who gave His life for us.

A gift so priceless. Nothing compares to it. Not even this world's greatest riches.  A love so pure, an innocent God died for us, because He loves us so much. He doesn't want us to go to hell.

The greatest story ever told in this kind of season is the story of Jesus and how He gave His life for us.  So, no matter how worthless you think you are this December, no matter how cold you December is, or how sad you are, always remember that you are loved.

Always and forever, not just on Christmas day, but every moment, every hour, every minute, every second of your life, you are loved and you are blessed.

People only base things materially, but God's love for us is greater than that.  He loved us just the way we are, imperfect and sinful, but He loved us just the same.

So, this year, think of something that you are grateful for, and offer a prayer of thanksgiving to God.  Your prayers may be unanswered for now, but always keep in mind that God hears us, no matter how small our voice is.
