In late July, as torrential rainstorms battered central China’s Henan Province and Southern Shaanxi, two areas' churches in Shaanxi Province donated in total 25,000 yuan to the flood-stricken people.

Starting from July 26 to 30, believers from churches in Yangling District in Xianyang City, China’s northwestern Shaanxi Province, made a donation of 20,000 yuan for Zhengzhou in Henan and Shangluo in southern Shaanxi (10,000 yuan for each of the two places).

The staff of Huazhou District CC&TSPM (Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement) in Weinan City, Shaanxi, handed over 5,000 yuan contributed by church members to the charity association to help local people suffering from record-breaking rainstorms. From July 22 to 23, Huazhou District was hit by short-term heavy rainfall, badly affecting its Jindui and Gaotang towns.
