Jiaojiang Church in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, has operated a free water station for six consecutive years as part of the city's "One Cup of Water" public welfare initiative, serving over 10,000 people to date.

According to the church, it has participated in the initiative since 2018, becoming a designated fixed water supply point. The station remains open year-round, offering free drinking water to sanitation workers, tourists, and local residents, regardless of the season. In addition to water, church volunteers occasionally provide snacks such as bread and candy.

This spring, to further accommodate the needs of outdoor workers and citizens, the church installed a wooden tea table and added chairs beside the water station. "In the past, I had to keep working after getting water. Now I can sit down, drink water, and rest my feet. It's wonderful!" said Auntie Wang, a sanitation worker and frequent visitor. The small tea table has become not only a place for rest but also a space for strangers to connect and exchange kindness.

"We aim not only to offer material support but also to foster an environment where public welfare and civility go hand in hand," said a representative from Jiaojiang Church.

Jiaojiang (Haimen) Church, formerly known as Haimen Jesus Church, is a prominent Christian church located in Jiaojiang District, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. With a European-style three-story building covering 3,980 square meters, the church traces its roots back to 1866, when a missionary from the China Inland Mission introduced the gospel to the area. After enduring closure and property loss during the Cultural Revolution, the church was rebuilt with the support of local believers and government approval. The current structure was completed in October 2016 through donations totaling 20 million yuan. Today, with over 2,600 members, the church is actively involved in various ministries, including Bible teaching, music, visitation, workplace fellowship, media, and charitable outreach.
