A fellowship of a church in Fujian Province, on the southeast coast of China, carried out various activities with other churches for exchange and learning, combining the characteristics of young people.

Houxi Church, located in Jimei District of Xiamen, is the largest church with a history of 100 years outside Xiamen Island. In recent decades, with the urbanization of Xiamen, this rural church has grown, with the number of its followers increasing every year. On September 5, 2021, it formed the Joshua Fellowship with 41 members, all of whom are young and middle-aged between 18 and 45 years old. Among the members are anchors, designers, full-time mothers, company bosses and employees.

Besides young staff members, the head and deputy head cooperate with 19 team leaders in the service. The goal of Joshua Fellowship is to inherit the promise of God, to become the blessing of the church, and to glorify God in their families and workplaces using the changed lives.

The gathering starts with Bible study and prayer. Apart from keeping watch with prayer and equipping members with truth, the fellowship leads its members by example in equality, solidarity, obedience, and cooperation, making each staff worker used by God to let others know the truth.

Formed less than a year ago, Joshua Fellowship has communicated with many other churches. It was invited to exchange at Beimen Church in Zhangzhou, East Church in Xiamen, and New District Gospel Church.

On July 17, Joshua Fellowship was invited to sing hymns together with members of Annan Mountain Church and Pantu Church, communicating with each other and praising the Savior Jesus together.
