A church in the Hubei Province in central China went to see more than 100 of its older members in the week before the Chinese New Year.

From January 8 to 15, Rev. Liu Jincai and other staff from Liufang Church in Jiangxia District of Wuhan City visited church members, including more than 100 elderly believers, seven disabled people, and six believers seriously ill with COVID-19. After that, they went to visit four elderly church fellows, two families that had relationship problems, and two couples with marital discord.

During the past three years, onsite church gatherings have been disturbed by the pandemic, church members’ illnesses, work, family, and financial problems.Besides online pastoral care, Liufang Church's staff kept contact with Christians through group activities and visits.

Overall, they visited 80 more members last year.
