Three seminaries in Guangdong, Hubei, and Shanxi recently commenced the 2023–2024 fall semester.

Guangdong Union Theological Seminary ushered in a new semester on September 1. Rev. Xv Jieping, president of the seminary, emphasized the importance of students' personal growth, their acquisition of truth, and the expansion of knowledge, according to Guangdong CC&TSPM.

During the Zhongnan Theological Seminary‘s commencement ceremony on September 4, Rev. Li Li, vice president of the school, preached a sermon themed “Stand Firm in One Spirit," citing Numbers 14:24 and Micah 6:8. According to the Hubei Provincial CC&TSPM, Rev. Li urged all students and faculty to love one another, reject evil in favor of good, and follow and trust in God.

Meanwhile, Rev. Zhu Zhiguo, chairman of the provincial TSPM and dean of the seminary, encouraged students to learn widely, think deeply, and establish morality.

In North China, Shanxi Christian Training Center celebrated the new semester with the participation of all staff and students.

Amidst the ceremony, Rev. Zhang Enlai, director of the center, gave a sermon, citing John 4:14. He encouraged students to build up their lives firmly and that their love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, therefore bringing blessings upon churches across the province.

Following the ceremony, Elder Wang Xiaohua, manager of the center’s general service division, briefed on logistical affairs and the disciplines in the school.
