A delegation from the Assemblies of God Hong Kong Association embarked on a visit to Guangdong Provincial CC&TSPM and churches across the province, fostering fellowship between Christian communities on both sides.

According to the host, Rev. Billy Lau Kam-sing, senior pastor of the Assemblies of God Yuen Long Kam Kwong Church, led a delegation of 11 people from February 26 to February 28 to Guangdong CC&TSPM. Both parties renewed their friendship and discussed the current state of their respective churches.

With the address on the long-term fellowship between the churches in Guangdong and Hong Kong, Rev. Fan Hong’en, chairman of Guangdong TSPM, briefed the guests on the latest developments of the churches in the province, including the key ministry of the sinicization of Christianity promoted by the provincial CC&TSPM, strengthening standardized management of the churches, theological education, talent cultivation, and social service. Meanwhile, he urged that mutual visits between the two areas be enhanced to improve the construction of theological thoughts and promote the sinicization of Christianity.

Rev. Billy Lau agreed to Pastor Fan's suggestion, appreciating the Guangdong churches' healthy continuity and development, as well as the Guangdong CC&TSPM's work in sinicizing Christianity.

On February 27, the visitors gave tours of the Guangdong municipal  CC&TSPM, Tianhe Church, and Dongshan Church, engaging in on-site exchanges about the construction of church venues and the practical experience of the "integrated" construction of churches in Guangzhou.

During the stay in Guangdong, the guests extended their visit and exchanges to the Guangdong Union Theological Seminary and its Union Chapel, as well as municipal CC&TSPMs and churches in Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Zhongshan cities.
