On July 1, a prominent church in Quanzhou, Fujian, was designated as a new bus stop.

It is learned that local bus routes 10 and 20 have added a "Church Stop" at the church located in Julong Town.

Construction of Julong Town in Hui'an County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, began in 2007. Covering an area of 300 mu, the town is now home to over 6,000 households, with a total population of approximately 10,000. It serves as a model community that integrates ecological development, cultural heritage, and community governance.

Julong Town originally had a Christian activity venue, but due to limited space, plans for a new church were initiated. In 2019, with approval from the Fujian Provincial Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, construction began on a new church in Julong Township capable of accommodating over 1,000 people.

In the past, people could only reach Julong Mountain on foot. Although transportation options such as electric scooters and private vehicles later became available, residents of Julong Town still experience some inconveniences. To address the transportation needs of residents living 25 kilometers away from Hui'an County, the local bus company launched routes 10 and 20 in 2013 and February 2015, respectively, which include stops in Julong Town. However, passengers still had to walk 1.3 kilometers uphill from Julong Town Station to reach the church.

To improve accessibility, a bus stop was established at the church on July 1.

The new church, completed in 2019, stands like a pearl set atop the crown of Julong Mountain. Inspired by the Book of Genesis, the designer incorporated the imagery of Noah's Ark into the steel-framed concrete structure. In addition to the main sanctuary, the church also features a library, fellowship rooms, and other functional spaces.
