Following a three-month catechism class and faith evaluation, Shengfu Church in Jinan, Shandong, held a baptism service for 31 seekers on July 13.
Rev. He Aixia from Shandong Theological Seminary delivered the sermon, encouraging the congregation to "participate with a positive attitude, commit themselves through sincere prayer, and work together in unity to build the house of God," said the church.
Rev. He then presided over the baptism of 31 seekers, after which the congregation partook in the Holy Communion.
Formerly known as the Shandong Christian Spiritual Retreat Center, Shengfu Church was established in 1938 and has a history spanning over 80 years. Located in the eastern suburbs of Jinan, the church occupies nearly 8,000 square meters (approximately 2 acres), with a building area of about 3,000 square meters (around 0.74 acres). It includes a main sanctuary, an auxiliary hall, and several multifunctional rooms. In recent years, the church has experienced notable growth and has actively engaged in social service, charity, and public welfare initiatives.
