On July 27, Ningbo Centennial Church in Zhejiang Province held its 2025 baptism service, where 90 seekers, having completed foundational faith classes and a confirmation of faith, were baptized. This photo collection captures the sacred moments of the day—from the inspiring sermon and the communal confession of the Apostles' Creed to the meaningful rituals of sprinkling and immersion—celebrating the beginning of a new life in Christ for each believer.
Ningbo Centennial Church was established in 1948 by the Anglican-Episcopal Province of China to commemorate 100 years of ministry by the Church Missionary Society in Ningbo. In 1958, it began holding joint services and eventually became the sole remaining church in the city. Following its closure during the Cultural Revolution, it was the first church in China to resume worship services in 1979. Today, the church has a 25-member committee, multiple pastoral and administrative teams, and more than 40 ministry groups engaged in worship, evangelism, pastoral care, family ministries, and other areas of service.
